| How We Care For Our Pets | These dogs are very people dependent dogs requiring a lot of attention. We treat each and everyone of these puppies as members of our family. We talk to them, play with them and include them in almost everything we do. As members of our family, or our "four-legged children", we do everything we can to make sure they are happy and healthy. They have all the bones and toys they could wish for, and all the love and attention they want. We make sure they always make their routine vet appointments, and another way we show our love and concern for our dogs, is to provide them with proper dog food and treats. If we did not love or care about them as much as we do, we would not treat them so well. Because our pets are completely dependent upon us, taking care of their physical, nutritional and health needs is the best way we can care for them to insure a long and active life. As pet owners, we have different ways of showing our love for our pets but in all seriousness these pups need to be in a home that they are not going to be left alone for hours at a time and because of their smaller stature over handling is not recommended. They require a lot of love and affection with little work, although If they are not kept entertained they will become bored and they will find their way into mischief. The dog has long been considered as “Man’s best friend.” When dogs are properly cared for from the time they are puppies, they will grow to live a good healthy life. Proper care and attention will earn you undying loyalty and love from your canine friend. Dogs are primarily different from other household pets for two main reasons: social attachment to humans, and physical temperament Dogs are social creatures – the bond they form with humans is uncommon to other domesticated animals. Their friendly and protective natures make them ideal companions to humans. Dogs are varied in their temperaments and have been bred to enhance specific characteristics. Chihuahua | The Chihuahua (affectionately called 'Chi') may descend either from tiny, hairless Chinese dogs or the South American 'Techichi', a favored pet which was buried with the deceased in the hope they would lead the way to the afterlife. Modern Chihuahuas hail from Chihuahua, Mexico. They are the smallest dog breed and the oldest North American breed. They rocketed to popularity in the U.S when famous Latin musician Xavier Cugat made a Chihuahua his constant public companion, and remain extremely popular to this day. Famous Chihuahuas include the Taco Bell Chihuahua, Ren from 'Ren and Stimpy', and Ducky, the 2007 ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ winner for ‘World's Smallest Living Dog’. |
